	What is an Export Management company? An Export Management Company (EMC) is a professional organization which has the necessary resources, "know-how" and experience to sell and perform various marketing and promotional activities to successfully introduce a product in overseas markets. An EMC works primarily as a liaison between you, the manufacturer who is looking to expand into various foreign markets and the distributors / importers seeking to purchase consumer goods manufactured in North America. In a way we also act as a bridge between the economies and the cultures of North America and Europe or the Middle East, importers located in Malaysia or Kuwait, Russia or Africa. One could also describe our company as an internationally diversified Sales and Marketing organization.
	How do you get paid? We pay the US supplier in a fashion similar to a typical domestic transaction.
	Would you be required to get involved with domestic or international transportation issues? The answer is NO. We provide "door to door" service. We load at the doorstep of the US plant and arrange inland and ocean freight.
	Will you be involved with the Export process? We work closely with US manufacturers. How closely you want to be involved with our operation depends entirely on you. We provide the necessary information to develop multilingual presentations, verify the acceptability of US specifications or standards used during the manufacturing process, prepare shipping documents and negotiate Letters of Credits.
